Travelling by Train

Trains from London Victoria arrive at Canterbury East and trains from St Pancras arrive at Canterbury West.

There are nearly 50 trains a day from London to Canterbury and average journey times vary to around one hour twenty minutes to one hour fifty minutes depending on the stopping service.

The services continue on to the coast and therefore there is a regular and consistent service from Dover and Ramsgate that will also stop at both Canterbury stations on their respective journeys to London.

Most of the larger market towns in and around Kent (Maidstone, Ashford, Sittingbourne and Faversham) also provide services into Canterbury which take about 20 – 25 minutes.

Both Canterbury stations are within a leisurely 8 minute walk of the ABode.
