Reservations

Cancellation Policy
Fully flexible with free cancellation up to 2pm the day before arrival. After this the first night’s stay will be charged.

We don’t need a deposit to reserve your room, just a debit or credit card number as a guarantee. We’ll take pre-authorisation of your payment ahead of arrival or when you check in, and full payment when you check out.

Excludes Christmas, New Year's Eve and any other special event dates.

Advance Purchase Rates
Reservation can be changed up to 2pm the day before arrival to a date within 12 months. 

For our very best rates, pay up front when you book. Unless you booked via our website, you’ll need to show us the same credit or debit card you used when you check in. Please note that we won’t be able to refund your payment.

Booking Provider
Please see the cancellation policy with your booking provider for full terms & conditions. Cancellations must be placed through your booking provider.

Special Dates
For a one-off special dates, reservations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Group & Multiple-night Bookings

N.B room nights are: number of rooms x number of nights (e.g. 6 rooms x 3 nights = 18 room nights).

10 – 20 room nights in total

Fully flexible with free cancellation up to 2pm, 14 days before arrival. After this the full stay will be charged. No deposit needed initially, simply provide a credit/debit card to secure your reservation with the full payment taken 14 days before arrival.

10+ rooms per night or 20+ room nights in total

Payment for the full stay is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation or contracted under our Group Terms & Conditions. Payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. With this in mind, it may be advisable to take out holiday insurance.

Children

Children of all ages are welcome to stay at ABode Hotels and infants (aged 0 - 2) stay for free. Children (aged 3 - 16) will be on the same rate (e.g. bed & breakfast) as the adults on their reservation.

These are the terms and conditions which govern your use of the web site which you will require to access to purchase an ABode Canterbury online gift voucher. By purchasing vouchers on this website, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions highlighted under this document and also the terms and conditions associated with the individual voucher purchased.

We reserve the right to alter our terms and conditions without any notice, and advise that it is your responsibility to regularly review these terms and conditions before each purchase to ensure that you are kept up-to-date with any changes to them.

Black Friday Vouchers- Any Vouchers ending 27th March 2024.

These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the usage of vouchers issued by [Andrew Brownsword], hereinafter referred to as "the Company." By redeeming a voucher, you agree to abide by these Terms and any additional instructions or restrictions provided with the voucher.

  1. Validity Period

This voucher is valid from January 1st, 2024, until March 27th, 2024, subject to availability. Please note that this offer is not valid on special event dates, including but not limited to Bank Holidays.

  1. Applicability

Vouchers can be redeemed against full-priced food items only. They are not applicable to any other products or services offered by the Company.

  1. Non-Stackable Offer

This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer, discount, or promotion unless explicitly stated otherwise by the Company.

  1. Redemption

To redeem a voucher, please present it to our staff when making your purchase. The voucher will be applied to the total cost of the eligible food items in your order.

  1. No Cash Value

Vouchers hold no cash value and are not transferable or refundable. They may only be used as a means of redemption for specified full-priced food items during the valid period.

  1. Lost or Stolen Vouchers

The Company is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers. Treat your voucher as you would cash, as replacements will not be issued.

  1. Alterations and Cancellation

The Company reserves the right to alter or cancel this voucher offer at any time without prior notice. In the event of cancellation, all unredeemed vouchers will become void.

  1. Compliance with Terms

By redeeming a voucher, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. Failure to adhere to these Terms may result in the invalidation of the voucher.

Standard Gift Voucher Purchase

A valid debit or credit card is required to complete an online voucher purchase. Payment is taken by the company and will appear on your bank statement as either ‘The Canterbury ABode Limited’ or ‘ABode Canterbury’.

Credit Card details are entered over a secure webpage, using a 256-bit SSL certificate (Secured Sockets Layer) from Trustwave.

Payment is made using 3D Secure protocol which is designed as an additional security layer for online credit and debit card payments.

A contract of sale does not exist between you and the Company, until such time as the payment has cleared and a confirmation of purchase has been issued, irrespective of whether or not this was received.

Details entered on the voucher, including but not limited to email addresses, postal addresses or contact details are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. The Company cannot be held responsible for any errors relating to the incorrect input of data. Confirmation should be checked as soon as it is received to ensure that the details are correct.

You verify that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the Gift Voucher ordered.

To purchase any vouchers or experiences that include alcoholic beverages, you must be 18 years in age or older.

A minimum age of redemption might apply for some vouchers or experiences.

All vouchers are valid for 6 months from purchase date.

Issuing & Delivery of Vouchers

Vouchers can be delivered via Royal Mail postal service or electronically.

Electronic Vouchers are delivered immediately as a PDF attachment, to the email address selected.

Postal vouchers are issued by the Company, within 3 days of purchase, and are sent out via first class mail. The company cannot be held responsible for any delays in receiving the voucher. Should you require the voucher to be sent out via any other means (Special Delivery), please contact the Company directly to discuss. Additional charges may apply.

Vouchers can also be collected in person, by prior arrangement.

Returns & Refunds

All vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless otherwise agreed by us.

Lost or stolen vouchers will not be refunded nor be replaced.

We reserve the right not to accept vouchers which may be damaged or defaced.

Our terms and conditions, or the terms and conditions of the specific vouchers do not affect your statutory rights.

Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the purchase date. Expired vouchers are non-refundable and non-extendable. 

Christmas & New Year's Eve

Christmas Party Menu - Booking & Payment

All prices include VAT at the current rate and subject to availability.  To confirm your booking we will ask for a £10 per guest non-refundable, non-transferable deposit which will be used against the cost of the meal and cannot be used on drinks.  Bookings made within 6 weeks of the reservation date will require full pre-payment at the time of confirmation.  The balance of payment for all meals and accommodation is required 6 weeks prior to your reservation date. 

Menus

We ask for final numbers and menu choices 2 weeks prior to the event.  Please inform us in advance of any allergies or dietary requirements so that we can accommodate your needs.  All menus are sample only and are subject to change and availability.

New Year's Eve

For New Year bookings £50 per person non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required. The remaining payment is to be paid in full 6 weeks prior to arrival. 

New Year's Eve Overnight Party

New Year's Eve package is based on two adults sharing in a Comfortable Room, inclusive of New Year's Eve menu, breakfast and VAT. Subject to availability.  The hotel does not allow alcohol to be brought onto the premises.
